The Rowing Club has arguably the most spectacular views in Wellington, this page describes a bit about the venue.
The room has a beautiful wooden floor and is painted a light cream to offset the crystal blue waters visible through windows which surround the room on three sides. There is a vintage rowing skiff displayed hanging from the rafters in the ceiling.
There is excellent indoor/outdoor flow to the deck area overlooking the lagoon and the inner harbor. The function room holds up to 100 for a formal sit down meal or 150-180 for a mix and mingle event. Access is via two staircases, one indoor and one outdoor.
